How does NTA Work?
The NTA releases the official notification for the respective competitive examinations on the website. Also, aspirants must read the official notification carefully to understand the exam requirements and other details. - NTA releases the application form for the competitive/recruitment exam. All the eligible candidates must fill out the application form with valid & correct details and submit it before the last date.
- Once the application process is over, NTA releases admit cards for all the registered candidates. They need to bring the hard copy of the admit card and valid photo ID proof to the allocated exam centre.
- Aspirants must appear in the computer-based exam on the exam day in the test centre assigned by NTA.
- Once the exam is concluded successfully, the NTA releases answer keys and invites objections against the same.
- After releasing the final answer key, NTA declares the result PDF for the specific exam and also releases the scorecards on the official website.
NTA Full Form
The NTA is an independent and autonomous premier testing organization established by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GoI) to conduct national-level entrance examinations such as UGC NET, JEE, CUET, CMAT, etc. Candidates are granted admissions /fellowships in various higher educational Universities/Institutions through this entrance exam.
The role of NTA is to publish notifications, exam dates, and exam center allocation and ensure the smooth conduct of the entrance exam. The main objective of the NTA is to bring equality and quality in education by conducting reliable, fair, and transparent competitive examinations.
