ITI (Industrial Training Institute) was established with the objective of providing special technical knowledge to train the students for industry or generate employment. It provides training on various trades and candidates or students can opt for a course depending on his/her rank or choice. Candidates are required to undergo practical training in the mentioned trade for 1-2 years and then jump into the practical work. It is mandatory to do the practical training to appear for the NVCT (National Council of Vocational Training) certificate.
