Eligibility Criteria for ITI
Eligibility criteria depend on course to course. Here, we’ll discuss some:
- Candidates must clear the 10th examination from a recognized board in India.
- Candidates must score the minimum percentage of 35(%) in the 10th Examination.
- Candidates must be between 14 to 40 years old.
- No direct admissions are held in Government Institutes. Candidates need to clear the entrance test to get admission to government institutes.
ITI Full Form
ITI full form: Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) play a crucial role in nurturing skilled professionals across various trades and industries. ITI (Industrial Training Institute) was established with the objective of providing special technical knowledge to train the students for industry or generate employment. It provides training on various trades and candidates or students can opt for a course depending on his/her rank or choice. Candidates are required to undergo practical training in the mentioned trade for 1-2 years and then jump into the practical work. It is mandatory to do the practical training to appear for the NVCT (National Council of Vocational Training) certificate.
