The first round began with a friendly conversation about my background, education, college and relevant experience. The interviewer asked about my understanding of supply chain management and how I believe it impacts retail operations. They also inquired about my familiarity with software tools commonly used in the field, such as ERP systems and demand forecasting software.

They asked questions like:

  • What is the role of a supply chain analyst regarding logistics management?
  • Are you familiar with the concept of the supply chain?
  • What is your experience with supply chain management software?
  • What are the different types of supply chains?
  • How will you manage an ‘out of stock’ crisis in the middle of an important project?
