Regarding leaves ,shifts , salary and breaks
There are 6 optional leaves, 12 sick and casual leaves, and 16 annual leaves. Salary is decent but not the best. Apart from salary, you get performance bonuses every quarter, food coupons and hikes. But don’t think that you’ll get all the leaves as getting a leave approved is a big headache.
During work hours you get a 30-minute break and two 15-minute breaks. Even if you don’t complete 8 hours it doesn’t affect your salary. I’ve worked every shift on a 24-hour clock. When you join you get the night shift compulsorily. Working in the night gets you an extra night shift allowance. Most of the work comes in the night shift. The team changes every 5–to 6 months with a new manager.
Amazon USA Working Experience
Hello,
I’ve worked for Amazon (USA) as a chat associate for more than 2 years. We only used to handle issues from North America and people who used to purchase from amazon.com. I’ve done my bachelor’s of engineering (mech). More than 75%-85% of the people working there are engineers. I had a colleague who had done aerospace engineering. I got selected via a college interview. There were many other companies but none of them were ever heard of mostly startups that didn’t pay as much as working in Amazon.
