2nd Year
Now you must be thinking that it must have turned better, but no, it got worse. Time certainly does not make things better unless you take action. If a repetitive cycle of frustrating events keeps happening, you can’t just leave it up to time and expect things to get better. My social life was still depressing. But let’s talk about the academic side of it. In 1st year we have general subjects, the ones that we have already studied in school so it was a cakewalk. Sure subjects do change thoroughly in the 2nd year, but if you are focused enough, you can ace your semester exams with one night batting and it is the story of almost every BTech college in India.
But wait, what about the fests? eh. Not gonna lie, there were a few cultural fests in the college, but I’d rather sit in my room than go there and that’s when you realize the importance of cultural differences. I’m not saying that the environment here is unfriendly, but it surely isn’t so polite and it’s different from your CBSE school.
CMR Engineering College, Hydrabad Campus Experience
South India is known for its technical developments, and higher literacy rate, and it is the reason why a huge number of north Indian students come here to pursue their graduation, in the hope of multiple opportunities in their career. But is it as dreamy as it sounds? Along with various struggles like language barriers, cultural differences, and worst of all, homesickness. Is it even worth it?
Hi, I’m a 3rd BTech student, and today I’m going to tell you about my journey.
