History of UNESCO
UNESCO was established in the year 1945, 16th November mainly to promote peace and global collaboration encouraging cooperation in fields of education science, culture, and communication among member countries. UNESCO aims to build mutual understanding and respect between nations, contributing to a more peaceful and interconnected world. The headquarters of UNESCO was located in Paris.
Mr. Vishal V. Sharma has been nominated as the Indian Ambassador of UNESCO. Ahmedabad was India’s first World Heritage city recognized by UNESCO.
