A deadly bomb blast took place in Turkey, on Istiklal Avenue which is in Istanbul. From that time only, the government of Turkey started to take the restrictions on social media platforms to avoid spreading the news of bomb blasts around the globe.
- But on 13th of November, there were some of the posts and images which were going around many of the social media platforms about a bomb explosion happening in Istanbul.
- This forced the government to take strict actions, and as a result most of the social media platforms where images and videos can be shared were banned.
- From then and there this incident created a ban of such video sharing platforms including YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Telegram.
