The game was a spin-off of the original Marvel’s Spider-man game. It has one of the best characterisation of Miles Morales, as the game went in depth of his lore, exploring the Harlem neighbourhood of New York City, as he lives his life both as a teenager and as a Superhero. Marvel’s Spider-man: Miles Morales is a continuation as well as expansion of the Insomniac’s Spider-man universe.
The story takes an interesting spin on the rookie Spider-man story as it follows Miles Morales as he tries to live up to the name of the iconic superhero. The game has the best Miles Morales characterisation in all of media. And most importantly, it was a game that proved you don’t need Peter Parker to make a great Spider-man game in the first place.
