If I have booked a test but my passport gets expired, will I be able to take the test?

If your passport has expired, you will not be able to use it as a form of identification for the IELTS exam.

An expired passport is not considered a valid form of ID, even if you have renewal papers. Therefore, you would need to renew your passport before taking the exam, especially if you’re taking the test at a location outside of your country of citizenship where a passport is required. It’s essential to ensure that your identification documents, such as your passport, are valid and up-to-date before your scheduled test date to avoid any issues or disruptions on the day of the exam.
