Galgotias University Admission Experience

I am currently in my second year at Galgotias University where I am pursuing a B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering specializing in Artificial Intelligence and machine learning. Today, I would like to share my Admission Experience.

Before Class 12th results:

I am from Delhi NCR, so I wanted to pursue my undergrad from NCR only. I was not preparing for JEE, so I want to be admitted to the college just after my 12th results. I have filled out the application forms of various colleges – Galgotias University, Bennett University, GL Bajaj, JSS Noida, etc. The Admission criteria at Galgotais University is a 60% aggregate score in Class 12th in PCM subjects, and that of Bennett and GL Bajaj is 80%.

After Class 12th results:

I scored 90% in class 12th, with a total aggregate PCM score of 83%. I was called for an online interview from Bennett University, in which I was selected. I got offer letters from both Universities – Galgotias and Bennett, for the same program that I wanted – B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and machine learning. Choosing a University from these two was a difficult task, as both of them are renowned universities. I had an acquaintance at Galgotias University who was a 3rd-year student pursuing the same course there, so I decided to reach out to him and get more information about the University. I along with my parents then decided to continue with Galgotias University.

Admission Procedure at Galgotias University

The admission procedure at Galgotias University was quite easy and simple I gathered all the information regarding the document requirements, admission fees, etc. over a phone call with the admission cell of Galgotias University. I along with my parents then reached Galgotias Campus 1, where the admission procedure began. They took the photocopy of the admission form, offer letter, and some other documents with my signatures. We paid the first installment of the program fees which was Rs. 25,000(refundable). By then my Admission number was generated and I officially became a part of Galgotias University as a student for the session 2022-2026. The staff of the admission cell was very helpful. The complete procedure was completed in 1-1.5 hours only.
