My Career Journey from a Below-Middle-Class Family to a Government University Student

Introduction:

Hello Readers, I am currently pursuing my B.Tech first year in the stream of Computer Science and Engineering in Sri Padmavati Women’s University (Tirupati).

Let’s dive into my journey from a below-middle-class girl to a student at a government university.

Family and Early challenges:

I have a family of 5 members including me. I have 2 siblings. For my father bearing the cost of education for 3 children is difficult, But he didn’t want to give up. My father always believes one thing that the only property we give to our children is just education. Because other property like land, money, etc may reduced and wasted our education is an infinite treasure that helps us in our difficult times.

From Private school to Govt School:

My father joined me in a reputed private school in town but due to some financial problems, we discontinued our education in that school. And we joined a government primary school in our village. In that school, there is no English medium, but my daddy doesn’t compromised. He asks the teachers in the school to teach us in English medium for that we bought books. then the faculty agrees with that.

It was more difficult for me because I have to write exams for each subject in both English and Telugu medium except Telugu. But I studied well and wrote the exams and scored top since my childhood.

I used to buy second hand study materials from my seniors. And old books from them.

My Passion For Technology:

Since my childhood I am curious about technology. I want to know that what is running behind all these websites, games and other digital phenomena worked.

I wonder how all these work ,but as a 10 years old girl I don’t know how all these things happen. For me it was like magic at that age. This curiosity grew into a passion, and I maintained my academic efforts throughout my school years.

Academic Achievements:

When I entered into my 6th class,I maintained the same efforts in my academics. I don’t know how the years are passing. I am in my 10th class I studied and prepared well for my 10th class board exams but due to pandemic I didn’t get a chance to prove my talent. But I performed well in the exams conducted in school based on that I scored 596 out of 600 in my SSC. In our time based on 10th class marks we have a chance to get into IIIT’s which offer 6 years of free education to govt school students. But I don’t have that chance due to covid.

Overcoming Challenges:

Alternate to this they conduct an exam called RGUKTCET, I prepared well for that exam and secured 3000+ rank. I was informed to attend the 1st and 2nd counselling but I don’t know it’s my fate or not I don’t get seat into the college due to the issues related to reservations. So many people cried at that time but I am stable because my father told me you put your 100 percent efforts, you should feel when you don’t put good efforts. And I also believed that when yous lost some opportunity there might me a big one which you deserve the most.

IPE Success and EAMCET Preparation:

In intermediate also with my continuous hard work and determination I became my collage second topper.

My passion towards technology and computer science became my goal now. To achieve this I have to study my B.Tech in CSE. But we can’t afford it. I prepare very hard for AP EAMCET exam and secured a good rank(17k). Now I am studying in SRI PADMAVATI MAHILA VISVAVIDYALAYAM ,Tirupati in my desired branch. My hard work is paid off .It was a government university. Now I get a chance to achieve my dream and to prove my talent. And it is an opportunity to make my parents proud.

Conclusion:

The roads in my journey were not paved with gold. I faced so many difficulties and hardships. So many people discouraged me cheated and insulted me, I but never give up. Today I get a chance to prove myself and don’t want to waste it.I just want to give suggestion ,that is whatever situation you are in try to give your 100 percent efforts for your development. And before you want to quit something ,think why you are started.

Remember one thing no body take take of you and helps you , one thing which is always there for you to help to you is EDUCATION only. So study hard, learn new skills and be confident.
