My Journey from A Small village to A Software Engineer

Hello Everyone!

I was born in a small village where I completed my schooling and topped the centre. Due to societal pressure, I went to Amravati for college, but the Covid-19 pandemic brought me back to my village. During this time, I prepared for entrance exams and helped on the farm, learning valuable time management skills.

I successfully cracked the CET exam with a 96 percentile score and got admitted to an autonomous engineering college named SGGSIET Nanded, majoring in Computer Science and Engineering. This marked the beginning of my journey to becoming a Software Engineer. I built a strong network and participated in various events and clubs, and now, three years later, I’m in my final year, ready for placement season.

In my third year, I tried for a summer internship for that I applied to many openings. I got one internship in a Startup company named Corkers. I learnt the startup culture, and cooperative work and enhanced my skills also. It was a good learning experience in my third year.

The final year began, and I prepared thoroughly for placements and participated in many drives, eventually securing an offer. I was thrilled with this achievement.

Don’ts:

  • Don’t share personal information unless necessary.
  • Don’t get upset if you fail.
  • Don’t depend too much on friends.

Do’s:

  • Apply for as many internships as you can.
  • Study hard and work on projects.
  • Practice and improve your coding skills.

Important Note:

Failure is common and can be disheartening, especially when you feel you deserve success. Don’t be discouraged by jealousy or setbacks. Stay focused on your studies, be honest with yourself, and success will follow. This is my personal experience, not copied from anywhere.

Thank you!
