Sinhgad Institute of Management ( SIOM ) Campus Experience for MCA

Course Curriculum Overview : I chose this MCA course because the evolution in the IT field in future is very very good, and I am very passionate about this field, In my college i.e. Sinhgad Institute of management, the student-faculty ratio is good, and we are not facing any problem in it. and faculty is also very cooperative, all the teachers are very qualified and educated, and the plus point of our teachers is that their teaching method is very very good and because of that we understand the topic very fast, and talkin’ about the term exams, after Every 1 month the term exams are taken, and because of our good faculty, we pass the exams comfortably.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions : Our college fees for MCA Faculty is 100000 for general category students,for OBC the fees is 60000,and there is very minimal home in fees every year,I gave 60000 in my first year and currently I’m in second year and my 2nd year fees is 53k,my scholarship name is Rajarshi shahu maharaj, talkin’ about the job and stipend..so there is a basic package for freshers is 3.5 lakhs .and internship stipend is minimum 10000-15000k …so the job opportunities in our campus is preety well.

Campus Life : Talking about the campus life…so I live at campus so my college is very near to me….our campus is very very big ,there are 2-3 grounds for us to play there,the annual fest names as KARANDAK is gonna happen next month so we are very very excited about it,there are monthly competitions for coding and other competitions as well,and our library is very very big ..I didn’t expect to be that big, and i think every book is available there,there is a camera in our classroom for security purpose, projector for easy teaching, clean benches for students,fan etc. every semester there is a campus sports competition for students,there are 2-3 social groups for students on WhatsApp,there is 1 group called CLUBMANIA.

Admission : First of all, you have to take the entrance exam that is MAHCET if you want to be admitted for MCA. then after the results as per your percentile have to choose the college, check the cutoff list of all of the colleges and as per the cutoff lists of the colleges, make your preferences of colleges and select according to it, after the selection of college if your name is in the list. you have to confirm the admission,and after that you have to go to the college for the admission process
