Ramon Magsaysay Award: An Introduction
- The Ramon Magsaysay Award is an annual award, established to continue former Philippine President Ramon Magsaysayâs example of integrity in governance, courageous service to the people, and pragmatic idealism within a democratic society.
- The award was created in April 1957 by the trustees of the New York City-based Rockefeller Brothers Fund with the approval of the Philippine government.
