My Journey From Manufacturing Plant to Government Service

My journey starts from a Pvt. Manufacturing plant. Where I used to work around 12–4 hrs per day. And coming late at night around 2 am was a daily routine. Since I was not in the mood for govt. Jobs. But my father working in Indian railways always forced me towards the govt. Jobs. Somehow I filled out the SSC CHSL 2014 form and I was surprised to see my marks. I was far away from clearing the cut-off. I thought it was due to a lack of preparation and due to overconfidence, I think.

Then I decided to quit my job and prepare for SSC. I was admitted to a coaching institute. Then I came to know what the competition is. There is race race-like situation .001 marks matter in selection or try next year.

I prepared with full dedication as I know that I have resigned from my job for this so I have to put in all my efforts.

Now the new phase of my life started. I prepared day and night. In around 4 months I cleared Ssc chsl 2015 and then I cleared its tier 2 and I was practicing typing since preparation thus it was like a piece of cake for me. Finally, I got a selection in SSC chsl SBCO, Lucknow postal assistant.

But my first joining letter was from INDIAN COAST GUARD GD duty.

Till now I have had many offers from various govt. Depts.

Right now I’m working in ESIC MOL&E, GOI.

I think you can achieve anything faith a good mentor (in my case my father I forgot to mention he taught me how to type without which I couldn’t get even a single job) and your hard work.
