Updating an Existing Mobile Number

1. Follow the same steps as for registering a new mobile number (mentioned above).
2. When entering your mobile number, choose “Update Mobile Number” instead of “Register Mobile Number“.

Follow these steps if you Forgot EPF Account Password

• Click on “Forgot Password” option.
• Enter your UAN and complete the captcha, then click “Submit“.
• Input your name, date of birth, and gender, and click “Verify“.
• Validate your details with Aadhaar information: Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha code. Consent to Aadhaar-based authentication and click “Verify“.
• Enter your new mobile number and click “Get OTP”.
• Enter the received OTP and click “Verify“.
• Create a new password and click “Submit“. Your password will be reset, and your new mobile number will be linked.

Remember

• Ensure your new mobile number is linked to your Aadhaar card.
• You can verify the update status by logging into the EPFO Member Portal or UMANG App.
• For any issues, contact your nearest EPFO office or use the EPFO grievance redressal mechanism.
