No, the UGC NET Syllabus and CSIR NET syllabus are not the same. UGC NET is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for the selection of candidates for Assistant Professorship and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in universities and colleges across India.
CSIR NET is conducted by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) for the selection of candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship/Assistant Professorship in science and technology subjects.
3. Who is eligible for UGC NET?
To be eligible for UGC NET, candidates must have a master’s degree in any subject from a recognized university. Note* Candidates in the final year of their master’s degree are also eligible to apply.
