TCS NQT Exam (15th January 2024)

I participated in the TCS National Qualifier Test (NQT) on my campus. The exam consisted of three sections: Foundation, Advance, and Coding.

Foundation Section:

  • Numerical Ability: I solved around 9-10 questions within the allotted time.
  • Verbal Ability: Found it manageable.
  • Logical Reasoning: Moderately challenging, but I tackled it well.
  • Advance Section:
  • Aptitude: Some questions were of moderate to hard difficulty; I managed to solve 5-6 questions.
  • Coding: There were two coding questions. I found them easy and completed both within 30 minutes.

Coding Questions:

  • Convert a given matrix into a lower triangular matrix (Easy Level).
  • Convert a code word of length ‘s’ into a matrix and print its transpose, given conditions on matrix dimensions (Easy-Medium Level).
