MTech Course: Admission, Fees, Syllabus, Entrance Exams, Career Scope
MTech stands for Master of Technology, a postgraduate professional degree program in the field of engineering that typically lasts for two years and it builds the knowledge and skills acquired during a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
An MTech program offers in-depth specialization in various engineering fields, such as Civil Engineering, CSE, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc. An MTech degree opens up doors to many lucrative career opportunities in diverse sectors, such as research institutions, MNCs, academia, and even entrepreneurship. For admission to MTech programs, candidates typically need a Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a good academic record. They may also be required to take entrance exams like GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) or specific university-conducted exams.
