I. Message Yourself Individually

Step 1- Open WhatsApp on your iPhone and click on the + sign in the top right corner of the app

Step 3- Type anything and send a WhatsApp message to yourself. Now, it will create a WhatsApp chat page with your name, and you will be able to send anything you want, such as audio files, text, video, audio, etc.

Note: This feature does not allow you to make payments to yourself; thus, you cannot send yourself money through WhatsApp.

Step 4- If you want, you can also get your name instead of your number on your WhatsApp chat; you just need to click on your number on the top bar. It will show you an option to ‘Create New contact.’

Step 5- Tap the ‘Create New Contact’ option, enter your name, and click the ‘Save’ button.

II. Create a Group

You can also create a group for yourself by using this feature. Here is how you can do it-

Step 1- Open WhatsApp, tap the ‘Chats’ option, and click on the ‘+’ sign on the top right corner

Step 2- It will open a new page and show numerous options. Click on ‘New Group.’ You can create a group chat, select a few friends, and then remove the other contacts to send yourself messages.

Note: You can add anyone you want, but make sure you remove them before sending messages to yourself if you want to send messages only to yourself, not to other people in the group.

Step 3- Name the group. As you are making it for yourself, you can name it me, myself, or maybe just your name. But remember that the person you added will be able to see the group name before you remove them from the group.

Step 4- Click the ‘Create’ button on the top right corner of the app. Now, you will see two people in the group

Step 5- Remove the other person from the group by selecting the person and tapping the ‘Remove from group’ option. The other person will be removed, and you will be the only group member. Now, you can type the message and send anything to yourself.
