Steps of Design Thinking
Design thinking process can be divided into five main steps. Even though in each of these steps are the specific processes and every designer does it differently but the core idea behind it remains the same. At its core, Design Thinking involves five key steps:
- Empathize: Gain a deep understanding of the user’s experiences, emotions, and motivations.
- Define: Clearly articulate the problem statement based on the insights gathered during the empathy phase.
- Ideate: Generate a wide range of creative ideas and potential solutions through brainstorming and collaboration.
- Prototype: Transform the most promising ideas into tangible, testable prototypes.
- Test: Gather feedback from users and iterate on the prototypes to refine and improve the solutions.
