Solution:
Given,
Volume of Cube (V) = 28 cm3
Volume of Cube(V) = a3 = 28
Side of Cube(a) = (V)1/3
a = (28)1/3
a = 3.0365 cm
Thus, the side of the cube is 3.0365 cm
Example 2: Simplify (14)1/3 – (11)1/3 + (8)1/3
Solution:
= (14)1/3 – (11)1/3 + (8)1/3
= 2.4101 – 2.2239 + 2
= 2.1862
Example 3: Simplify (24)1/3 – (27)1/3 + (15)1/3
Solution:
= (24)1/3 – (27)1/3 + (15)1/3
= 2.8844 – 3 + 2.4462
= 2.3306
