Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU) is a public university located in Shanghai, China. It was established in 1896. SJTU is famous for training excellent engineers and scientists and is often referred to as the “Eastern MIT”. Among its alumni are over 60 distinguished individuals, including Qian Xuesen, Wu Wenjun, and Jun Ye.
