Requirements to appear for the BDS Program
To appear for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program, the following requirements are generally needed:
- The PCM i.e. Physics, Chemistry, and Biology must be the primary topics in higher secondary education (10+2), with a minimum overall score of 50–55 percent (varies depending on the institution and nation).
- A Student must pass an entrance test, such as the National Eligibility and Entrance Test i.e. NEET for Indian students, or the Dental Admission Test, or DAT, for American students.
- A bachelor’s degree may be a prerequisite for applying to the BDS program in some countries.
