Recruitment Process

CBRE conducts four rounds for the role of Associate Data Scientist.

• Written Round
• Group Discussion (GD)
• Technical Round
• Panel Discussion

Each round is an elimination round.

Eligibility Criteria:

Students with a CGPA of 7.5 and above without any backlogs are eligible to register.

Written Round:

The written round consists of multiple-choice questions. We had questions about general aptitude, DBMS, SQL, computer networks, English, etc.

Technical Round:

The students who clear the written round are called for a technical interview. Twelve students were selected for the second round. There is no hard-and-fast rule for which questions will be asked in this round; you can expect questions on any topic, depending on the interviewer. To clear this round, you should be clear with your basics. You can expect questions from DBMS, SQL, simple coding questions, probability and statistics-related questions, AI/ML-related questions, and project-related questions.

Panel Discussion:

Five students were shortlisted for panel discussions. We had multiple interviewers asking a mix of technical and HR-related questions. Questions were based on AI and ML applications. One question was about what kind of data science project you would implement if given the chance. Confidence and communication are the keys.

Finally, two students were selected.
