1. Cyclone Biparjoy

Another cyclone made its landfall in India but in the area of Myanmar. It had extreme winds of over 200 km/h. It caused over 400 deaths in Myanmar. In the Indian state of Mizoram, over 200 houses were damaged, but no casualties were reported. It caused over $1 billion in losses for Myanmar. 4. Cyclone Michaung

The most dangerous cyclone for India in 2023, it formed over the Bay of Bengal and hit the city of Kovur. It has caused great chaos in the city of Chennai and has claimed, till now, 17 lives. The city of Chennai went under the flood. The Chennai International Airport was forced to cease its operations due to flooding that went inside the airport.
