My Strategies for Preparing the Exam
My first step was to understand the JEE Mains syllabus, identifying main topics in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. For the preparation, I do not get much worried about the syllabus of the COMEDK exam, because almost entire syllabus is same as the syllabus for Jee mains exam. I know some topics clearly as they were studied at the time of Jee mains.
I started preparing two months before the exam, because this much amount of time is sufficient for studies. I can create the daily timetable and thoroughly followed it. Mostly, I preferred Ncert books for studying the topics and deeply covered all the syllabus. Ncert books are the part of my life at that time as I spent most of the time with them. I used to take mock tests regularly and it was a crucial part of my preparation. These mock tests helping me improve my time management and get familiar with the exam pattern. Also practice pyq’s to familiar with the exam pattern.
COMEDK Engineering Exam Experience
In 2021, I appeared for the COMEDK examination to secure admission in the top colleges in Karnataka. The COMEDK exam is conducted by the “Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka” and offers admission to over 150 colleges in Karnataka, including Engineering, Architecture, Medical and Dental colleges. Despite facing a few challenges and setbacks, I have no regrets for not getting admission into the esteemed IITs or NITs. This story is a reflection of my journey and the valuable lessons I learned along the way.
