- Loyalty: The responsibility of being loyal requires lawyers to act in the best interests of their clients and avoid conflicts of interest. Lawyers must remove any potential conflicts of interest to their clients and obtain their informed consent before proceeding with the representation.
- Diligence: The responsibility of diligence requires lawyers to act with reasonable diligence in representing their clients.
- Honesty: A lawyer must be open, honest, and sincere in expressing thoughts and opinions. It involves straightforwardness and transparency in communication, without concealing the truth.
