My Journey of JEE Main Preparation and Admission to DAIICT

Generally, the JEE examination is for engineering students who want to secure a seat in NITs. After qualifying in the JEE Main exam, they can take the JEE Advanced exam and potentially secure a seat in IITs. Some top institutes in Gujarat, like DAIICT, Nirma, and DDU, also offer admission through JEE Mains. I took the JEE Main exam and I got 98.06 percentile, and In the board examination I got 99.86 percentile so both the way I got admission to DAIICT, DAIICT has 35% seats for the Gujarat board and 50 % seats for JEE Mains. then I took admission through the Gujarat board.

Below is the JEE Main exam paper pattern. At the start of my JEE preparation journey, I focused on practising questions based on this pattern to gain an understanding of time management and the score required for a good rank. Throughout my two-year journey, my friend and I made papers based on the main paper pattern for each other. Twice a week, we simulated the exam environment by taking these practice exams. Before the final exam, I had written over 200+ practice papers. This rigorous preparation not only familiarized me with the exam format but also honed my problem-solving skills and time management abilities.
