Instructive Qualifications Details of AFCAT
- Flying Branch: Completed the graduation degree with 60% marks and probably scored 60% passed Physics and Mathematics in class twelfth.
- Technical Branch: Qualified for a 4-year Degree and having finished Sections A & B examination of Associate Membership of the Indian Institute of Engineers or Aeronautical society with at least 60% marks.
- Ground Duty (Non-Technical): Qualified B.Com graduate with at least 60% aggregate marks. For the purpose of training Official posts, the applicants ought to have MBA /MCA or MA/MSC degree in respective subjects like English/Physics/Mathematics/International Studies/Chemistry/Defense studies/Computer Science/IT/Management/Journalism/Public Relation with at least 50% marks and have scored at least 60% marks in graduation.
AFCAT Full Form – Air Force Common Admission Test
AFCAT Full Form: The full form of AFCAT is Air Force Common Admission Test. AFCAT is conducted two times a year (February & August) by the Indian Air Force for its Technical & Non-Technical (Flying Branch and Ground Duty) posts. It is a section for both male and female candidates who wish to join the Indian Air Force for both Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and Short Service/Permanent Commission in Ground Duties for both Technical and Non-Technical occupations.
