Installation of Dnssearch Tool in Kali Linux OS

Step 1: Use the following command to install the tool in your Kali Linux operating system.

go get github.com/evilsocket/dnssearch

Step 2: Now use the following command to move into the directory of the tool. You have to move in the directory in order to run the tool.

cd go/bin/

Step 3: Now use the following command to run the tool.

./dnssearch -h

Reconnaissance is the process of gathering information like Subdomains, Ports, CMS, etc. This can be done through automated tools. Dnssearch tool is an automated approached tool that has the potential to enumerate the subdomains of the parent domain. For eg. write.w3wiki.org is the subdomain of w3wiki.org. The functionality is been distributed onto subdomains. Dnssearch tool also gathers the CNAME and A records of subdomains.
