Step 1: Open your preferred Browser
Go on Google by choosing your preferred Browser
Step 2: Go to Google Docs
After opening Google, you will see nine dots in the upper right corner. Click on it. After scrolling, you will see a Google Doc. Open it.
Step 3: Open Blank Docs
Choose a blank document as you open Google Docs.
Step 4: Create Table
Insert a 2×2 Table for the Header: Go to “Insert” and “Table.” Choose a table with two rows and two columns. This will create the basic structure for your invoice header.
Step 5: Add Your Company Logo
Let’s give it a customized feel! If your business has a logo, you may add it to the top left corner (cell A1). This will help your customers recognize your brand right away.
Step 6: Include Invoice Number and Date
Enter “Invoice Number” in cell B1, upper right corner, and give this invoice a special number. Please put the date next so your client understands when the invoice is due. You may put “Invoice Number: 301, Date: May 21, 2024” as an example.
Step 7: Give Your Company’s Details
Move to the bottom-left cell (cell A2). Enter your business name, address, and phone number (optional) under a heading like “From:”.
Step 8: Add Your Client’s Details
In the bottom-right cell (cell B2), enter your client’s information (name, company name, address) under a heading like “Billed To:”.
Step 9: Format the Table for a Clean Presentation
Click “Format,” then “Table,” and choose “Table properties.” Set the borderline width under “Color” to zero to make them disappear. You can also choose a background colour for the header (optional).
