How to Create a Group in Gmail

Step 1: Click the Google Apps icon, Click “Contacts”

Go to the top right of your screen and look for the Google Apps icon. Then, click on the Contacts menu.

Step 2: Select the ‘Contact’ from the list

Select contacts one by one using the checkboxes next to their names, or use the master selector at the top of the column to use every email address in your contacts list.

Note: If you don’t see any individuals in your contacts list, you may see who has interacted with you on Gmail by going to the left pane and selecting Frequent.

Step 3: Click the add (+) sign to create a new label

Click the plus symbol (+) in the Labels section to add a new label. The Labels section appears in the bottom left corner of the screen.

Step 4: On the pop-up menu, Name the group and click Save.

After naming your group, click on the “Save” button. All of the contacts you choose will have the label added to them.

Note: Click the “Manage labels” option in the top navigation menu to add contacts to the email group after choosing them.
