How it started

It was 2021, and as everyone knows, the COVID-19 epidemic was causing disaster in the word at the time. Additionally, I discovered that I had to overcome the JEE Mains exam. Not like a lot of my friends, I hadn’t signed up for any prestigious coaching programs. At last, I decided to study on my own and stay motivated with my willpower.

The pressure was tremendous. There was intense competition for the JEE Mains test, and the stakes were high. I was aware that passing it would be essential to achieving my goal of attending a prominent university to study engineering.

My usual school routine was interrupted by the epidemic, so I had to get used to learning online. I devoted several hours to studying textbooks, doing practice problems, and watching lectures online.

The JEE Mains exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 for B.E./B. Tech and Paper 2 for B.Arch/B.Planning. I registered for Paper 1, which consists of subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Based on my research of previous years’ papers, I identified that the topics that carried the most weightage. I put all my focus on studying the highest weightage like in Physics, Mechanics, Electricity, and Magnetism. In Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry. And in Mathematics, Calculus, Algebra, and Coordinate Geometry. These were some of the most important topics I got on the internet.

In my suggestion, the do’s and don’t would be:

Do’s:

  • Don’t wait until the last minute to start studying. Start early and read something daily.
  • Focus on the topics that you can easily understand.do those topics as no one can beat you on them.
  • Solve as many questions as you can every day.
  • Take short breaks between your studies to keep your mind fresh and stress-free
  • Stay positive and motivated: Believe in yourself and your ability to succeed.

Don’ts:

  • Don’t leave studying like I studied today a lot so I can take rest the next day. Study a little every day
  • Sometimes you will make mistakes but stay motivated
  • Never ever compare yourself with others just focus on your own work.
  • Never give up.
