College Admission Experience

Like everyone else in the middle class of India, I also choose engineering especially Computer Science Engineering as my career option after 12th standard. I completed my 12th from Kendriya Vidyalaya in Delhi in 2023. And I give JEE Mains exam in which i was able to score 93%ile. However, I have studied day and night but unfortunately didn’t qualify for JEE Advanced. Then I researched the best colleges at the low percentile. Unfortunately, I didn’t get admission to JAC Delhi colleges then according to my rank the best college would be I getting is Maharaja Agrasen Institute Of Technology in the CSE branch. My experience of studying in computer science engineering is very good because the college is very great i.e. top rank IP college in Delhi. The professors were very skilled, knowledgeable, and highly driven people, the campus of the college is top notch therefore my friends and I had a great time. But there are some disadvantages of the college too;

The following professors are the drawbacks of that college:

• Bad timings as there is no time for learning new skills
• Bad and unenthusiastic management
• Very small campus
• A bunch of practicals of no use

There was no encouragement from the national-level college for any kind of national level competition like robot wars, paper presentations, technical presentation, debates, etc.

There was no any kind of facilities for sports. Students used to arrange money from sponsors for starting any sports events in college.

I would like to share my experience when I was in the Last semester of first year.
