AIIMS Admission Process 2024

AIIMS colleges consistently rank among the top medical institutions in India. They are known for their rigorous academic programs, experienced faculty, and state-of-the-art facilities.

The admission process to AIIMS colleges is highly competitive and is based on the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Entrance Examination (AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam). The exam is conducted annually by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

To be eligible for the AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam, candidates must have

  1. Completed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% marks for the general category and 40% marks for reserved categories.
  2. Required subjects in Class 12 are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English

The AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam is a single-stage exam that consists of two parts:

  • Part A: Biology and Chemistry (200 questions)
  • Part B: Physics and General Knowledge (100 questions)

The Selection process for AIIMS colleges is based on the following criteria:

  • Based on the merit rank in the AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam, candidates will be invited for counseling.
  • During counseling, candidates will be able to select their preferred AIIMS college.
  • Seat allotment will be done based on merit rank, reservation category, and domicile state.

Note: The exam is conducted in English and Hindi.
