BAMS
The study of Ayurvedic medicine is the main subject of the BAMS professional medical course. Students who successfully complete five and a half years of study, including a year-long internship, are awarded a degree. Full Form of BAMS
The full form of BAMS is Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery.
Candidates must have passed Class 12 in the Science stream with 50% to 60% in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) subjects in order to be eligible to enrol in the BAMS course. To get admitted to BAMS, candidates must have also passed NEET. For BAMS courses, only the NEET scores are allowed. The annual cost of the BAMS course fees is between INR 20,000 and INR 3,00,000.
Following graduation from a BAMS program, applicants may choose to pursue careers as ayurvedic doctors, category managers, business development officers, or other positions like assistant professors or associate professors in colleges. A graduate of a BAMS program typically makes between INR 3 LPA and INR 15 LPA.
