Axis & Allies is a World War II strategic board game series. Axis & Allies is a board game that allows players to experience a shocking sweep of World War II, from Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor to the European invasion of Normandy and ultimately the demise of the Axis nations of Germany, Italy, and Japan. Because the players control the nations involved, the battle can take unplanned turns and play out in a variety of ways.
The game is separated into turns, with each turn consisting of seven parts. Before the next nation moves, each nation completes all seven phases. Nations cannot act during the turns of other nations, which means that even ally nations cannot launch combined attacks.
