GLA University Admission Experience

I thought of pursuing a Master’s Degree after I completed my Bachelor’s Degree. So I visited all the colleges nearby and even near my state and even through entrance exams. So today I would like to share my admission experience at GLA University.

GLA University Mathura is spread across 110 acres of land and offers several facilities for postgraduate and undergraduate students. It provides almost every course for graduation, post-graduation, Law & Diploma

Me and my father both were there for the admission process. At the gate, we were requested to park our vehicle roadside(no specific parking for visitors).

After entering the gate we were asked to visit the University. So at the gate, we were photographed and an entry pass was made to enter the university.

After entering we asked the person where to go for the admissions, and he said go to the reception.
After reaching reception we were told to go to the Admission cell, where a person was sitting at a computer & asking for necessary details like Are you coming to the college for the first time, admission to the course, name & other stuff. Then summing up all the details he made a login password for me and then referred me to a person to show the college.

The person was assigned & then he made us visit the digital library of the University. The digital login & other stuff.

After he showed us the campus he sent us to a room where a teacher was sitting. He explained everything related to the admission process, fees, migration, and results.

We then asked about the scholarship procedure and he explained the same. We asked him for more discounts, and he said sir, a discount cannot be made we will let your ward apply for the scholarship.

We then asked about placements, he replied sir placements are done the MCA students are sited with B.tech for the placements. Don’t worry sir.

The fees of the M.C.A. Course for the first year was 1,43,000/- and Second year was 1,48,000/-

We then asked him if we could pay fees in instalments he replied NO, you should pay the fees all at one go.
Then I asked him if I filled out CUET and if there was any benefit for the same, he said the admission department would give this answer.

We were then sent to the admission department where admissions were done based on tests.
I asked the head sitting over there I had given CUET if there was any benefit of the same. He then said tell me your marks I replied 99. He said well done (He was unaware of the fact that the total marks of the test given was 400). Then he replied we will exempt your test. Do let us know when ready for admission. We came back home. The M.C.A. there was costing 5 lakh for the whole course. So I decided not to go for an M.C.A. from GLA University.
