Gen AI Awadh Summit 2024 at AKTU Techfest Experience

The Gen AI Awadh Summit held at Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University was a memorable tech event for me and anyone who attended that prestigious event. I not only got the opportunity to attend but also to be part of the community and team and be a volunteer at the Gen Al Awadh Summit, Lucknow which was organized by TensorFlow User GroupLucknow in association with Innovation Hub UP, Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU)Lucknow and Hunto Al. The Community partners included Lucknow Al Labs and Google Developer Groups (GDG) Lucknow added invaluable support to this event.

As I entered the premises of AKTU, I saw a large building with great infrastructure and long roads. The summit was held in the Centre of Advance Studies, 1st floor SSB Hall and it was a great event. We had both the facility of lift as well as the staircase. The building of the Centre of Advance Studies comprises many labs such as robotics, nanotechnology, mechatronics, and more, and the building had four floors.

Before the attendees arrived, we all were taking care of the venue, the tables, and seats for everyone, all the mics were working properly, and mementos and many more things were being taken care of. Some were fixing the banners while others were taking care of the registration and rest. Some of our team members were preparing themselves for hosting the event. Everyone was in their workzone and everyone was pumped up.

The summit started at 11 pm with the welcome address and felicitation of guests. Then the Keynote address and brief introduction about Innovation Hub Uttar Pradesh was given. After all this, the first speaker Ankit Pal delivered his session on Generative Al Fundamentals. The second speaker led by Madhurendra SachanIntriguing discussions on Security x GenAl. Third Speaker Prashant Shukla, gave the session on Crafting Visions with Gemini: How text becomes visual masterpieces. Then it was time for the break in which we were given Pizzas from Domino’s and in cooldrinks there was Pepsi. After that, our fourth speaker, Abhishek Sahu gave his insights into Fine-Tuning Google’s Large Language Model Gemma with Keras NLP and opened new vistas of possibility. The fifth speaker, Rishabh Gupta gave a session on an exploration of Prompt Engineering 101 and rounded off the summit with best practices and case studies the event was followed by the Panel Discussion, the topic being Evolution of AI: Past, Present, and Future. It was an engaging and informative session in which everyone gained knowledge.

Overall, my experience at AKTU was memorizing and it was truly an event where everyone learned something. AI and ML are truly going to be the future of the upcoming era and let me tell you all one thing AI is dangerous and people are thinking it’s fun. AI is by far the most capable of things that we can assume and we are not taking care of it properly. Quantum Computers on the other hand are being developed and once it is developed, privacy will be a joke. Important codes, messages, and many more things will be very easy to fetch and track.

Beware of Artificial Intelligence my friends.
