Amazon Interview Experience for SDE Intern

Today, I am going to share MY FIRST-EVER INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE with Amazon on December 12th, 2023:

This was an on-campus opportunity where a Google Form was circulated in our group. Subsequently, I received an email from Amazon for an Online Assessment on December 5th, 2023.

The OA consisted of two coding questions (Easy-Medium), and it went very well. As a result, I was invited for an interview with Amazon.

On December 12th, 2023, the interview commenced with the interviewer’s introduction followed by mine. Without delay, the interviewer delved into coding questions.

The first question was a medium-level one from w3wiki. Initially, I explained my approach, starting with the brute force method and then transitioning to the optimal approach. However, time management became a challenge for me, as I took longer than anticipated. Despite this, I managed to present the optimal approach. Subsequently, I was asked to code it on their platform (Chime). After completing this task, they presented me with another question. While I was able to discuss its approach, time constraints prevented me from coding it. Following this, they inquired about my project, concluding the interview.

After a few days, I got to know that I was not selected for the internship.

Overall, it was an amazing first experience!
