10th Board Exam Experience

I am an undergraduate computer science student.

I was the 2nd topper of my school’s (KVs) batch for 2020, with 91.8% and 100/100 in social science.

How do I prepare?

  1. The first and most important thing is your NCERT textbook. My strategy was to solve my math NCERT test book 3–4 times. (For social science, you have to read the book at least twice.)
  2. Revision is key to success; revisit complex topics on alternate days and easy ones on weekends. (This practice makes you clear about the main objective of the topic.)
  3. Make notes—make short, handmade notes of your own instead of borrowing from others.
  4. Practice the last 7 years of PYQs.
  5. Solve for at least three sample papers for each subject.

Points to remember:-

  1. Don’t compare yourself with others; just be confident and work hard.
  2. Take proper sleep, eat healthy, avoid junk foods, drink plenty of water, and listen to positive music.
  3. Distance yourself from negative thinkers and try to spend time with your family.
  4. Limited use of social media instead of watching comedy shows.
  5. Do meditation and exercise daily.

some books: NCERT,NCERT EXAMPLER, Oswal Question Bank (best for SST), Modern ABC (for science), MTG sample paper (or any), Arihant PYQs book.

MY JOURNEY:-

So social science was my favourite subject. I love to read social science books. Multiple times reading clear your concept and attract your attention to every basic point given. For maths, you have to practice a lot of questions of different types, starting with the NCERT book. For science, Modern ABC is the best book from which I have studied, followed by NCERT. Now for English and Hindi, strengthen your grammar and practice passages every week.

So always keep in mind that you are studying for yourself and for your parents. It is nothing in front of all the hard work they are doing for you; just motivate yourself and prioritise yourself and your dreams because that is what matters, and one day all this hard work will pay you a lot.

Keep going.

Thank you for reading.
