Zycus Interview Experience for Software Developer
Applied to this company via referral. The interview process consisted of the following rounds:
Written Round:
- This round tested the candidate’s basic knowledge of aptitude. There were no programming questions.
- There were 30 questions to be solved in 45 minutes, and most questions took less than 1 minute to solve.
- The questions were from areas like aptitude, logical reasoning, and English comprehension.
- The candidate was able to clear this round. Suggestion: Practice aptitude questions from websites like w3wiki and IndiaBix to gain a good understanding of the concepts.
Interview Round: The interview questions asked were:
- Introduce yourself.
- Tell me more about your hobbies.
- What is testing? How is it different from developing?
- Gave a login page scenario and asked what all the things the candidate would test.
- Asked a few questions about the candidate’s mini-project.
- Why are you interested in hacking?
- Explain XSS and SQL injection.
- Provide Python code to print a triangle pattern.
- Modify the code to print a diamond pattern.
The interviewer was satisfied with the candidate’s answers and ended the interview on a positive note.
Suggestion: Be thorough with whatever you’ve mentioned in your resume, as the interviewer will likely ask in-depth questions based on that.
