VIT Pune Admission Experience from Civil Engineering to AI & DS

As the title tells in this article I am gonna tell you my journey from civil engineering to AI and DS Pune. So first all of I would like to make known to you some history behind this which is responsible for making me pursue this journey.

So I completed my 10^th in 2018 with 93.40%. After 10^th I had to take admission to a diploma In civil engineering. I said &#x201chad to&#x201d because I had done a mistake while filling out the option form and I had to take it as civil was my first option. So after 3 years of dedication, and 6 semesters of submission finally completed the diploma course with 93.37% from Government Polytechnic Latur.

Even having been pursuing a civil diploma for 3 years I couldn&#x2019t create my interest in it. So I decided to pursue my interest. After two months it was time to take admission for engineering. One day I put my agenda before my parents. I tried to convince them for 7 days but they refused to let me change the branch. So I went for civil for cap1 and I got good college. Though I had got a good college still I tried to convince them with my big brother. This time they accepted my proposal. So I took a gap for that year and started learning to code.

 In 2022 I made registration for BE admission on the MHTCET website. I went for cap rounds 1 and 2. Out of the 8 selected colleges, I got an opportunity to be an AI & DS student at &#x201cVishwakarma Institutes of Technology Pune&#x201d. The admission process required multiple documents, such as income certificates, nationality certificates, and academic records, these documents can vary according to category. Preparing these documents sometimes becomes an arduous task.

So currently in vit as an AI&DS student and really enjoying exploring my field of interest. So this was my admission process but my moto is put aspect of this journey. One important aspect of this journey was to take a bold decision even after giving 3 years to civil. It was really hard and challenging for me to convince my parents and brother about this. Like everyone’s parents want their children’s future to be safe. Along with this, there was a challenge to get into a field that I am not known about. It took me some effort to be ready to join this course as I had to take admission into the direct second year.

Though I had to do some hard work for some days I was really enjoying that work. I strongly believe that following one’s passions and dreams is vital for lasting happiness. If want to be happy then you will have to love to work in whatever do.

Through this journey, I want to tell my all friends that never to be scared of pursuing something that really likes them and is really mean to you. Though It would be challenging at the beginning but with the time that is something which will provide you a joy of life. At the end I would like to thanks to my parents for there support.
