TCS Interview Experience for SDE

The Process of recruitment contains mainly 2 rounds.

Round 1: There is one online assessment test which is a mandatory round, this is also important for going ahead in this process. If you have not qualified then you can not go for a further round. The assessment test’s hardness level is intermediate to high. it is not easy for cracking. you have to prepare well for the test. This test contains mainly 4 section

  • Numerical Ability
  • Verbal Ability 
  • Advance Aptitude
  • Advance Coding

In the last section which is advanced coding, you have to solve 2 coding problems which are not very easy but also not hard. you can say it is a medium-level question.

After getting this test, if you qualified for this test you will get the confirmation via mail after 2 weeks around and also that mail contains the date and time for round 2.

Round 2: It is basically a combination of 3 rounds. technical round + managerial round + HR round. In my TCS interview, there are 3 panelists sitting in front of me. one is for a technical interview, the second one is for a managerial interview, and the third one is for an hr interview.

  • In the technical section, he asked me some questions related to my resume, In this round, they just wanted to check if I knew the fundamentals of every subject.
  • First, they asked about the project that I have done during my academics then one of them asked me questions based on specific subjects like Java and its advantages and usages. 
  • They also asked me about OOP concepts like polymorphism, static, encapsulation, Inheritance and how can we overload the main method in Python, SQL Joints, etc.
  • They asked for intro, strengths, weaknesses, and What I know about their company. And, After completing all rounds I got the offer letter from their side as well.
