SSC Coaching Experience

I am telling you about my SSC coaching experience. I am from HISAR, so I joined an offline coaching institute known as Drishti Classes in HISAR. It was very well known at that time and it was very trending and very famous.

So, when I started classes, there were classes for major subjects like Math, Reasoning, and English on daily basis and some occasional subjects like Computer, Hindi, and Biology at occasional occasions. So, all the faculties were really good. Like the Math faculty, the Reasoning faculty, they are especially very good. The English faculty was average and other faculties don’t really matter in the long run because their portion in the syllabus is very low like Computer, Bio, other things.

So, let’s talk about the environment there. So, the ambience was not really great. Like they have made partitions in rooms just to , you know, fit as many students as they can. But the teachers are really good. Like the Math teacher was really good, English teacher was average, and the Reasoning teacher was really, really good.

So, they teach well and the sessions are around approximately one hour long. So, they also provide breaks in between. And the strength is really high there. Like a lot of students they have. So, lot of times it becomes a problem because the classroom size is very big and if you are sitting at the very end of the class, you can’t understand some concepts or you can lose focus.

And occasionally they also throw parties. Those are good. They also provide study material within their course. So, they have printed their own study material. They give it with the course. And their average batch duration is like four to five months. Four to five months they can easily complete the syllabus. They also have library facility, but that is separately paid.

And my overall experience was that if you want to clear any government exam. You have to take the coaching, but after that you can join library and just work on brushing up on those concepts. So, your effort is more like mandatory than their effort. And if you put consistent effort, you may get a government job.
