Siemens Interview Experience for Graduate Trainee Engineer (On-Campus) 2022
Round 1: 29 MCQs. This round consisted of questions from aptitude, OOPS, DSA and C++.
49 students were shortlisted after this test.
Round 2: Technical Interview 1:
- Give your Introduction
- What is your favorite subject? (I said OOPS)
- What is pass by reference and pass by address? Write a piece of code for the same.
- Some questions on the concept of pointers and references. (These were a little tricky).
- Write a code to find the sum of consecutive elements in an array. The last element should be added to the first element of the array.
- What is Constructor, Copy Constructor, or Destructor?
- Does the compiler always create a default constructor? When is it mandatory to define a default constructor ourselves?
- Define OOps features with real life examples
- You are holding a pen in your hand. Can you apply encapsulation and Abstraction in it?
- Can you apply encapsulation and Abstraction in a fan?
- You are having a pile of Rice and 1 Kg of Stone. How will you measure 31kgs of rice?
- If I travel 600 meters in 5 min. Find my speed in km/hr.
- Then we started talking about my internship, so the below questions were based on my resume.
- Explain your role in your last internship.
- What is Rest Api?
- Mention some commands of npm.
- How will you run a file using node?
- Do you have any questions for me?
Round 3: Technical Interview 2 + HR (Mode: Online): This round was purely technical for some of the students
- How was your day?
- Give your Introduction.
- Write code to count frequency of elements.
- Find Missing and duplicate number in range 1 to n.
- What is your weakness?
- Talk about a situation where you faced some challenge and how did you overcome it.

Round 4: HR (Mode: Offline)

- What is your weakness and what is your biggest strength?

11 students including me were selected at the end of the process.
