RJIT Admission Experience

I am currently pursuing a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Rustamji Institute of Technology (RJIT). As a second-year student, I’d like to share my journey and experience during the admission process at RJIT.

When I was preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), I worked hard and managed to qualify, securing a 72 percentile in the JEE Mains 2022 session. This allowed me to gain admission into RJIT, specifically in the CSE branch, which is renowned at the institute.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for admission to RJIT, candidates must:

• Pass the 12th board exams.
• Secure a qualifying rank in the JEE Mains.
• For the CSE branch, a minimum of 60 percentile in the JEE Mains is required.

Application Procedure:

The application process is straightforward and conducted online through the RJIT website. Here are the steps involved:

• Online Application: Candidates must apply online by filling out the necessary forms on the RJIT website.
• Submission of Documents: Required documents include academic certificates, JEE Mains scorecard, and other relevant documents.
• Admission Confirmation: Upon meeting the eligibility criteria, candidates receive confirmation of their admission.

My Journey:

I traveled alone from Patna to Tekanpur to secure my admission at RJIT. It was my first time travelling alone, which made the experience both challenging and exciting. My father, who is in the BSF, had a friend in Tekanpur who helped me with my stay during this period. I got admission to RJIT on 17th August 2022. As RJIT is a BSF college, my BSF quota played a significant role in my admission process.

Hostel Accommodation:

Upon arrival, I immediately paid for my hostel and was allotted a room on the same day. The hostel facilities are commendable, providing a comfortable living environment for students.

Campus Experience:

The RJIT campus boasts excellent facilities, especially in the CSE department. Some notable features include:

• Smart Board: Classrooms in the CSE department are equipped with smart boards, enhancing the learning experience.
• AC Rooms: The CSE department also has air-conditioned rooms, ensuring a comfortable study environment.
• Library Facility: A well-stocked library is available, providing access to a vast collection of academic resources.

Faculty Support:

The faculty at RJIT is incredibly supportive. I received immense help from some of the most respected professors, including Prof. Yograj Sharma and Dr. Jagdish Makhijani. Additionally, Prof. Vivek Gupta and Prof. Kirtiraj have also been very supportive and helpful throughout my journey.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, my admission experience at RJIT was a memorable and enriching journey. The support from the faculty, the excellent campus facilities, and the warm environment made the transition smooth. I would highly recommend RJIT to anyone looking to pursue engineering, particularly in the CSE branch.
