Renault Nissan Technology Interview Experience

Getting an interview call from Renault Nissan Technology Business Center of India Pvt Ltd is like embarking on a journey through technology—preparation, determination and pursuit of quality. As a fresher, I had my share of challenges while navigating this famous road but it was also very transformative for me in terms of understanding technology and professional growth.

The Foundation Of Success:
I got a Placement opportunity from SRM University for the role of Graduation Engineer Trainee held in November 2020. There were 3 rounds. I received the mail from my official email ID as it was part of the placement in my college. The first round was held on 5th Nov 2020 and consisted of 30 questions from CO-Cubes- 10 Questions from Aptitude, 10 from Logical Reasoning, and 10 MCQ Based on DSA & Programming. I was able to solve 25 questions completely and passed 83.33% which helped me to clear this round. My interview was scheduled for 20th NOV, 2020. I was informed 1 day before, about the 40-minute interview.

Interviewer: Introduce Yourself.

Me: Answered.

Interviewer: He asked me about my project since I had it in my resume.

Me: I told him what I had done in my project in college since it was my first major project.

Interviewer: Then he asked me a Basic question related to Java as I decided to pursue my career path as a Java developer. He asked questions like OOPS Concept & java core

Me: I was able to answer it. However, I elaborate on all my answers in detail and give examples of each.

Interviewer: He asked me an SQL question which was mentioned in my Resume.

Me: Answered.

Interviewer: He gave me one programming Question related to printing the electricity bill using a Java program in watts and units I was given 9-14 minutes for it.

Me: I could print the program and complete the task he gave, and he was satisfied after seeing my results.

Interviewer: Tell me your hobbies.

Me: I love traveling and listening to romantic music.

Interviewer: Any questions for me?

Me: I asked him about his experience at Renault Nissan Technolgy Business Center of India Pvt Ltd & feedback which he went on to answer for almost 5 minutes also he was very much satisfied with all the questions he asked me I was able to finish the interview and reached the milestone to clear the technical round.

My last round as HR interview was scheduled for 27th NOV, 2020 about a 20-minute interview.
Interviewer: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Me: Answered.

Interviewer: Why do you want to become a Software Engineer?

Me: Answered.

Interviewer: What are your weaknesses and strengths?

Me: Answered.

Interviewer: Any questions?

Me: Asking about my feedback for this round. She told me your interview went well and you will receive the offer letter soon.

After listening to this I was in heaven and felt the happiest moment of my life as this was my first company where I got my offer letter from the company on Dec 5th, 2020.
